Back in the Workshop.
Back in the workshop after a forced time-out for a medical issue. In this video I begin making a drill grinding jig. This is an attempt to copy the jig that was an accessory for the AR5 Tool and Cutter Grinder. I have produced a set of drawings for it, working from photos of the original and some dimensions supplied by two of my subscribers. The design is quite straightforward but it presents some interesting machining challenges. Most notably the need to produce two faces that are oriented at compound angles but intersect on a vertical centreline.
