🚜🌱 #AgricultureOnTheMove | Program of June 18, 2026 In this edition, we address the issues that are currently concerning agriculture in Áncash and Peru: ✅ The First National Meeting of Women Entrepreneurs in Agriculture was presented. This event will bring together leaders and entrepreneurs who are transforming the agricultural sector in Nuevo Chimbote. ✅ We denounce the neglect of canals and drains in Cascajal Izquierdo and Chachapoyas, while the Chinecas Special Project is being criticized for not prioritizing the maintenance of the water infrastructure needed by thousands of farmers. ✅ We analyze the call from user organizations for producers to regularize their water bill payments and avoid collection actions. ✅ We discuss the impact of climate change, the decreased flow of the Santa River, and the growing water scarcity that threatens agricultural seasons. ✅ We also addressed the situation of the 1,643 hectares still lacking proper land titles under the Chinecas project, a problem that generates legal uncertainty and questions about fee collection. 📺 Because agriculture can't wait, at Agricultura en Marcha we continue to monitor, inform, and give a voice to those who work the land and feed Peru.
