We Ran The Chute | Bowron Lakes Canoe Circuit Part 2
Part 2 of our Bowron Lakes Canoe Circuit adventure is here! After reaching The Chute at the end of Day 3, it was time to see what all the hype was about. With freezing temperatures, high spring water, and limited whitewater experience, we decided to run The Chute instead of portaging around it. From there, the adventure continued through Isaac Falls, McKinley Lake, Cariboo Falls, and some of the most spectacular scenery on the entire circuit. We battled rain, wind, long portages, and a 31 km day before finally making the push back to Bowron Lake. 125 km. 6 days. Countless memories.
