Bandar Lampung Jadi Tuan Rumah Rakornas Samsat 2026

The event, held on Tuesday (July 14, 2026), served as a momentum to strengthen national synergy and encourage the transformation of motor vehicle administration and taxation services throughout Indonesia. The 2026 Rakornas Samsat was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the Indonesian National Police, PT Jasa Raharja, all heads of Regional Revenue Agencies (Bapenda), and the president directors of Regional Development Banks (BPD) from various provinces in Indonesia. Bandar Lampung Mayor Eva Dwiana expressed her appreciation for the central government's trust in appointing Bandar Lampung City as host of the 2026 National Coordination Meeting for Motor Vehicle Tax (Samsat). "This trust is an honor for Bandar Lampung City. It certainly motivates us to continue improving the quality of public services, particularly in the areas of motor vehicle administration and taxation," said Eva Dwiana. In her remarks, Eva also invited all participants of the National Coordination Meeting to enjoy the hospitality of the Bandar Lampung community during the series of activities. She hoped that participants would take the time to better explore the various tourist destinations and culinary specialties of the Tapis Berseri City. "We hope all participants can enjoy the atmosphere of Bandar Lampung City, learn about our tourist destinations and culinary specialties as part of their experience during the 2026 National Coordination Meeting for Motor Vehicle Tax (Samsat)," she said. On the occasion, Eva Dwiana also highlighted the implementation of Law Number 1 of 2022 concerning Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments, particularly regarding the implementation of the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) option. According to her, the PKB tax opt-in policy has had a positive impact on increasing regional fiscal capacity, enabling it to support the financing of various development programs and public services. According to data from the Bandar Lampung City Government, realized Motor Vehicle Tax opt-in revenue throughout 2025 reached IDR 232.14 billion. Meanwhile, as of June 2026, realized revenue had reached IDR 112.2 billion. Eva hopes that the 2026 National Coordination Meeting for Samsat (Samsat) will produce various strategic recommendations to accelerate the digital transformation of Samsat services throughout Indonesia. "Through this National Coordination Meeting, we hope to generate various innovations and strategic recommendations that can accelerate the digital transformation of Samsat services, improve taxpayer compliance, and provide faster, easier, more transparent, and more accountable services to the public," she said. Meanwhile, the Regional Secretary of Lampung Province, Marindo Kurniawan, stated that the National Coordination Meeting for Samsat is an important forum for strengthening inter-agency coordination in improving the quality of motor vehicle administration services. According to him, synergy between local governments, the police, PT Jasa Raharja, and all stakeholders is key to realizing modern, community-oriented Samsat services. The 2026 Samsat National Coordination Meeting in Bandar Lampung is expected to yield various breakthroughs that will improve the effectiveness of public services, strengthen regional revenues, and encourage the digitalization of Samsat services across Indonesia.
