Mt. Rainier in a Day | Disappointment Cleaver Route (One-Day Summit Push)
Join us on an epic single-day push to the summit of Mt. Rainier (14,405 ft) via the Disappointment Cleaver Route. This is one of the most iconic and demanding climbs in the Pacific Northwest. As the sun dipped below the horizon and twilight was fading, we began our hike from the Paradise Parking Lot (5,340 ft). With over 9,000 feet of elevation gain in less than 8 miles, we faced a relentless climb through darkness, altitude, crevasses, and fatigue all against the ticking clock. The goal: reach the summit and descend safely before the heat of the day increased the risks on the glacier. This video captures the full journey: the complete ascent, breathtaking glacier views, crevasse crossings and the intense mental and physical effort required to complete a summit like this in just one day. Whether you're a mountaineer, adventurer, or just love a good challenge, this video is one climb you don't want to miss.
