She Crawled Toward Us… After Surviving Two Months With No Help | Paws Rescue
Swin didn't give up... and neither did we. ❤️🐾 We were driving through a small town when a movement on the side of the road made us stop. A thin, frail dog was struggling to crawl on her immobile hind legs. Seeing us, she immediately crawled towards us, as if she had been waiting for someone to help her for a very long time. Locals told us that Swin had been hit by a car about two months ago. Since then, she could only crawl on the ground to survive. Despite the pain, Swin remained incredibly gentle, always trusting of humans, and never lost the tenderness in her eyes. We took Swin to the nearest clinic to begin treatment. The doctor said she had almost no feeling from her lower spine down to her hind legs. However, we won't draw any conclusions until Swin has X-rays and a thorough examination by specialists. The best part is... Swin is still smiling. She's been to the beach for the first time, resting in a clean stroller, being petted, hugged, and knowing she's loved. A kind person even gave Swin a walker. For the first time in months, she can move faster on her own, exploring the world with joy clearly visible on her face. But Swin's journey has only just begun. There are still many tests, X-rays, medications, rehabilitation, and possibly even major surgery ahead. We believe that... If Swin hasn't given up for the past two months...
