The Bamboo Village project is open to anyone, with the average cost sitting around 650,000 IDR or $48,000 USD and includes a land ownership certificate, a two-story villa, landscaping and gardening, plus amenities like hot water, electricity and even some furnishings! Designs are fully customizable, so interested parties can choose to build a larger or smaller eco house, and there is the option to include add-ons like a private swimming pool, although there are additional costs involved in customizing your eco-house. The average build time ranges from between four and six months, after which the house is fully operational! There’s also an opportunity to lease one of the houses on a 10-year contact. About two hours from the hustle and bustle of Kuta beach, Tabanan has no shortage of natural beauty.
