Bamboo - The ideal material for circular and eco architecture
Chiangmai Life Architects' Principal Markus Roselieb explains why bamboo is such an amazing construction material with benefits for all involved. For example it has a higher tensile strength than steel and at the same time is lighter. Instead of emitting carbon during "production" like steel, it actually absorbs carbon during "production" = growth. It lends it self to organic curves thus creating memorable and heart-warming structures. And it is beautiful to behold without much effort. And during production the money goes to the small people, instead of like steel to big foreign conglomerates
