This aircraft represents Honda Aircraft's vision for how they can enter the light business jet market in a segment slightly larger than the original HondaJet. Competing in size and weight with aircraft such as the PC-24, Citation CJ4, and Phenom 300, the aircraft is expected to significantly exceed their range and offer a more versatile aircraft, even targeting a portion of the midsize jet segment.
