2006 Merrygoen - Peak Hill - Goobang Junction - Parkes

With Sydney to Newcastle closed for trackwork, the quiet village of Merrygoen is awake to the sounds of trains being shuffled around the Y junction. A Brisbane to Sydney freight is put back together after being split in two and stabled overnight, then seen passing through Peak Hill under unsettled skies. At Goobang Junction, a steel train makes its way towards Narromine and the following morning during a thunderstorm, two trains are sighted navigating Parkes Junction on the Stockinbingal side of the triangle.
