Landmark buildings in the Jardins, Santa Cecília, Campos Elíseos, Higienópolis, Bom Retiro, Pinheiros, and neighboring Minhocão neighborhoods were designed and built by a group of immigrant architects who decided to work on both sides of the counter. Designing every detail, sometimes even painting or sculpting facades and interiors, but also incorporating and constructing. Responsible for choosing land, financing, investors, and even selling units. The total control (and risk) of each project is certainly reflected in the excellent architectural result of all of them. It's a shame that not all of them are very well known, so this video attempts to lessen that injustice. In the final episode of this series dedicated to the refugees who built São Paulo's icons, we'll meet some of these architect-builders, such as Israel Galman, Marcos Botkowski, Bernardo Rzezak, and Victor Reif.
