This is a trip through a snowy forest. We've had an incredible amount of snow this year. In some places, the snowdrifts are a meter or more deep. The road follows a narrow track left by snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles. I rode alone through the quiet winter forest, surrounded by only snow, trees, and the tracks of wild animals. I encountered forest animals along the way, and hundreds of their tracks could be seen in the snow. It turned out to be an atmospheric journey through the winter forest—calm, a little harsh, and very beautiful. Winter is gradually fading, and we are slowly moving toward spring.
