The day started out beautifully: I slept well and set out in a good mood. But the overnight thunderstorms changed everything. The black soil, which had previously been just a road, turned into a real challenge. The sticky, heavy earth clung to the wheels and refused to let go. Every kilometer I literally had to dig out of the road. On top of that, I started having technical problems with my bike. This day turned out to be one of the most difficult on the entire route.
