The "Perfect" Vest Fights Back — and so do I. This week, a missing seam allowance left me with a hole in the front piece, and I had to find a way to turn it into something I can live with. Along the way, I also tackled four welt pockets without a tutorial in sight — the first took four and a half hours, the last took one. The vest is still not finished, but it has pockets now, and somewhere hidden inside, a small piece of Paris.
