33-Min Prenatal Pilates Workout with Light Weights - Third Trimester Pilates

This is a 33-min prenatal Pilates workout using light hand weights or wrist weights. Can be done at any time during pregnancy, but is made with the third trimester in mind. Watch a quick preview of class here:    • Prenatal Pilates workout with light weight...   EQUIPMENT NEEDED: —Light hand weights or wrist weights (I'm using 2lbs) —Optional to wear ankle weights CLASS DESCRIPTION: We start in a side lying position with some breath work and move into a flow for the shoulders/rotator cuff and muscles surrounding the hip joint. We repeat the side body flow on the other side and then finish class with some upper body work with the weights, targeting the shoulders. -------------- I'm so excited to share prenatal Pilates workouts with you all throughout my pregnancy! In addition to being a STOTT trained Pilates Instructor, I am a Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (certified through CES). So you're in good hands! That being said, I'm not there in the room with you to form-correct and give individual guidance. You should always consult with your doctor before partaking in a new form of movement. If anything doesn't feel right with your body or causes pain, stop.
