TRIBUNJAKARTA.COM - The death of Sutrimo, a man suspected of working as a household head (karumga) at the residence of former prosecutor Febrie Adriansyah, is still under police investigation. Sutrimo was found dead on Thursday (July 23, 2026) at a clinic in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta. He was found lifeless, foaming at the mouth. Before being found dead, Sutrimo had contacted a relative at 5:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) and again at around 6:37 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). In the conversation, he reportedly complained about his health. However, less than three hours after this last communication, the family received news that Sutrimo had died. The police have processed the crime scene and collected evidence, including CCTV footage from the area. The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Iskandarsyah, stated that his team is still gathering information from witnesses near the scene. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Metro Police emphasized that the investigation is still ongoing and no conclusion has been reached regarding the cause of death. The Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto, stated that investigators will work professionally and carefully in uncovering the sequence of events. The investigation also involves gathering information from the victim's family and medical personnel to confirm the facts.
