Yang Hyeong-du, a farmer who returned to his hometown in Jeongeup and runs a 20,000-pyeong farm. From his mother, who has 40 years of farming experience, to his younger brother and his wife, who manage the farm alongside him. The family is working together to cultivate the farm. A life of working together, eating together, and laughing together. He says he is 100% satisfied with his life back home, where the whole family is tightly united. The family farm gets busiest starting from the end of June! It is the time to harvest ‘Cheongoe,’ a precious summer delicacy that can only be harvested for exactly one month. Cheongoe, with its excellent crunchy texture and salty flavor, is the representative crop of the farm's summer. Cheongoe, a type of cucumber known for its high moisture content and tendency to spoil easily, is typically pickled rather than eaten raw. They say a bowl of cold agar-agar soup topped with pickled Cheongoe quickly restores energy to a body exhausted by the heat. A crunchy summer side dish passed down from grandmother to mother, and then to daughter.
