[ MSFS2024 | VATSIM ] a virtual trip to FlightSimExpo in the JustFlight BAe-146, KBWI-KIND-KMSP!

Tonight marks the start of the seventh edition of "FlightSimExpo" -- a giant conference and trade show for flight simulation enthusiasts -- and the first of those seven events that I am not able to attend. So tonight's stream was a virtual trip to Minneapolis, flown in the JustFlight BAe-146 as "Colgan," a long-defunct carrier which performed trips as "Continental Express" -- and we borrowed gates from United Airlines all night as a result. The trip went from Baltimore (KBWI), which is not too far from Annapolis, to Indianapolis (KIND) then on to Minneapolis (KMSP) -- so we pretty much hit all of the "apolises" in one night. We had VATSIM ATC for our departure out of Baltimore, but were largely on our own coming into Indy and departing again -- then once we got airborne on leg two, that was where Chicago Center did most of our sequencing work. We didn't really end up hitting too many delays, but ATC shut down while we were on our descent. CTAF at Minneapolis got a little tense in the transition, but, we made it down successfully and logged two moderately decent approaches and landings in the BAe. -- Watch live at   / slantalphaadventures
