He jumps into a car called the Tempest, drives it right out of the clock tower, and crashes it directly into Sorceress Edea's float! Before he can even face her, he is confronted by his ultimate rival, Seifer, who has officially become the Sorceress's Knight. After a brutal gunblade duel, Squall defeats Seifer and engages in a massive, magical brawl against Edea herself! Just as victory seems close, Edea conjures a massive, jagged shard of ice and launches it directly through Squall's chest. He falls backward , plummeting to the ground as the screen fades to black.
