Subscribe ‪@studywiththedentist‬ for more on Dental Education and Dentistry. Major connectors, is the component that connects the two main sides of the removable partial denture or also known as the cast partial denture. Major connectors have a very important role in the distribution of functional forces that are being applied on any of the part of the removable partial denture. There are few guidelines that we need to follow when fabricating the major connectors. In order to make it stronger, more resilient, and least irritating. The guidelines on how to design a major connector in a removable partial denture are discussed in this video. They remain more or less the same, with a few variations to the rules that may occur with the specific type of a major connector.
