800 Miles in & Everything is Going Wrong. (PCT: Glen Pass to Mather Pass)

I FELL IN... and I have NO WARM GEAR. 🥶 🌊 Fresh off Forester Pass, I hit a nightmare in Bishop: the post office lost my box and my warm gear is gone. I’m now navigating the 13,000ft High Sierra peaks with no base layers, no puffy jacket, and just a 22-degree quilt. With freezing temps in the forecast, my absolute worst-case scenario happened: I fell in a river. From a wobbly bridge that completely freaked me out to a 10:00 PM river crossing in the dark, this was the ultimate test of my "unbreakable" mindset. But even with wet feet and gear mishaps, the beauty of Palisade Lake and the Sierra "fairy tale land" makes every mile of this side quest worth it. 🎯 THE ROAD TO 1,000: We just hit 500 subs!
