Irish Oaks
This weekend's Irish Oaks at the Curragh brings together some of the best 3-year-old middle distance fillies in training, with the market headed by sensational Epsom Oaks winner Thundering On. However, with that filly having looked a bit below par last time out, the Ribblesdale 1-2 Earth Shot and Johanna Walsh, the Prix de Diane third Inis Mor, and the Epsom Oaks favourite Amelia Earheart all look to have their chance. Throw in two completely unexposed fillies in Sparan Nua and Rebel Moon and you have all the makings of a cracking contest. James and Daniel run through the whole field horse by horse. Contrary to his usual stance, Daniel finds the favourite's price quite attractive, but is most sweet on a horse whose run last time out was even better than it looked.
