A Coastal Journey Through The Gambia: From the New Senegambia Road to Kololi Beach, there’s something refreshing about taking a drive along The Gambia’s coastline — the mix of new development, natural beauty, and vibrant local life makes every trip feel like an adventure. In today’s vlog, I took you along the newly built road leading toward Senegambia, passed through the iconic Strip, explored Kololi, admired a beautiful flower garden along the way, and ended the day with a peaceful walk on the sandy shores of Kololi Beach. Cruising the New Road to Senegambia The journey began on the new road that leads straight into Senegambia. Smooth, clean, and lined with fresh landscaping, this road has quickly become one of the best routes in the area. As I drove, the scenery shifted from quiet neighbourhoods to the lively coastal atmosphere that Senegambia is known for. It’s the kind of road that makes you enjoy the ride as much as the destination. Passing Through the Senegambia Strip As I approached the Senegambia Strip, the energy instantly picked up. Even from the car, you can feel the rhythm of the place — restaurants, bars, shops, tourists, locals, music, and movement everywhere. The Strip is the beating heart of Gambian nightlife and tourism, and simply driving through gives you a taste of its excitement. A Beautiful Flower Garden Along the Way Before reaching Kololi, I stopped to admire a beautiful flower garden — a colourful, peaceful spot filled with tropical plants and bright blossoms. It wasn’t in Kololi, but it added a perfect touch of nature to the journey. The vibrant flowers, the greenery, and the calm atmosphere made it a great moment to pause and appreciate the beauty of The Gambia beyond the beaches. Arriving at Kololi Beach After the garden stop, I continued into Kololi, one of the most popular coastal areas in The Gambia. Kololi Beach never disappoints. The sand is soft and golden, the waves roll in gently, and the coastline stretches far enough to make every walk feel endless. I took a slow walk along the beach, enjoying the sound of the ocean, the breeze, and the peaceful vibe that Kololi is known for. Whether you’re relaxing, filming, or just clearing your mind, this beach is the perfect place to be.
