Microsoft wants to help you find your next job
When was the last time you picked up a new skill at work? Microsoft is expanding its free online learning platform and marshaling other digital tools in a bid to train 25 million people this year for jobs where talent is scarce -- software developers, project managers and cyber security analysts, to name a few. Switzerland CEO Marianne Janik says companies aren’t doing enough to help employees learn skills needed for the post-pandemic recovery and long-term economic growth. “The general trend has not been the trend we want to see.”
