The Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) is in the centre of Kota Kinabalu city. It is a six-hectare multi-function complex that is the largest conference, exhibition, and entertainment facility on Borneo that was built specifically for those purposes and is on the water. The well-planned floor plan at SICC is spread out over five levels and includes a large convention hall with no columns and a system for dividing it into three sections. Each multipurpose hall has a floor space of 6,800 square metres and can hold up to 1,500 delegates. There is also a large pre-function area. On a separate level, there are three connected exhibition halls with a flexible event space of 5,200 square metres, six meeting rooms, and a VVIP lounge. On the third floor, there are VIP rooms and VVIP lounges that lead to the grand foyer of Sabah's first world-class performing arts hall. The top floor has 13 private meeting rooms. The two-level amphitheatre has room for 1,250 people. A 7,000-square-meter outdoor plaza connects to the main lobby. It has a sunset view of islands and the South China Sea and is a good place for outdoor events.
