Die harte Arbeit wird belohnt! Mein Selbstversorger Alltag Woche #42 Selbstversorger Challenge

The months of often hard work in the garden are so richly rewarded. I'm harvesting so much wonderful fruit and vegetables right now. We're bringing home kilos of strawberries, and I'm harvesting some really big vegetables. Winter and spring consisted mostly of leafy greens, so I'm all the more grateful to be harvesting cauliflower and broccoli now, this beautiful purple kohlrabi, lots of turnips, great pointed cabbage, crisp spring onions, and also the first raspberries, fresh garlic, sugar snap peas, and I was even able to harvest my very first cucumber of the year. In week 42 of my self-sufficiency challenge, I made a large batch of preserves. I also dried herbs like tarragon and thyme. Gardening was also on the agenda, as always, because my second garden needs some attention again. First, I tidied up the compost area in the back and then weeded some beds that really needed it. At home, I made pasta and sourdough focaccia, as well as fresh soy milk and yogurt. I've also been knitting again! I've finished the first sock for Adrean and started a new sweater.
