Hello! This time, I’m taking you along for a day in Paris on July 14, 2026—Bastille Day, France’s national holiday. The morning begins with breakfast at Café de Flore in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. I then head to the Pont des Arts to watch the Patrouille de France fly in formation over Paris, painting the sky in the colors of the French tricolor. Afterward, I make my way to the Marais and visit the Musée Carnavalet. From a prehistoric dugout canoe to Marcel Proust’s bedroom, I leisurely trace more than 2,000 years of Parisian history and memories. I then enjoy lunch on my own at JOLI, the restaurant located in the museum’s courtyard. In the evening, I meet up with my friends for a refreshing summer gathering in yukata. After a stroll through the Palais-Royal, we enjoy delicious homemade dishes and lively conversation in an atmosphere that brings back memories of summer in Japan.
