JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - President Prabowo Subianto has signed a presidential decree appointing Kuntadi as Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), replacing Febrie Adriansyah. Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi stated that Kuntadi's appointment was based on a recommendation from Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin. Kuntadi is known as a career prosecutor who has handled corruption in the tin trade and the procurement of BTS infrastructure for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. Prior to his appointment as Jampidsus, Kuntadi served as Head of the Attorney General's Office's Asset Recovery Agency since November 20, 2025. Kuntadi's appointment as the new Jampidsus, replacing Febrie Adriansyah, means that the corruption cases involving the former Jampidsus will be handled directly by Febrie's former subordinates.
