George Tsontakis (Clair de Lune)

Composed in 2006 for the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Clair de Lune is a two-movement work which was dedicated to the composer's mother. Through out the piece, you will hear not only hints of Debussy's music, but also subtle touches of Messiaen and Ravel. Still, there is plenty of originality to be found within this 20 minutes of dreamy music. I. Moonlit II.
