Papaya Flower with Dry Fish Curry | Garo recipe

This is a very simple and rustic village dish, that is sometimes prepared in my home. The bitter papaya flowers from a male papaya tree is boiled with dried fish and lye (indigenous soda) and made in to a simple gravy is great tasting and goes really well with steamed rice as a side.
