📖 The Gospel According to Mark – The Calling of the Twelve (Mark 3:13–19) Expository-Existential Sermon Oikos Church – Milan 🗓 January 18, 2026 In this sermon, starting from the account of the calling of the Twelve in the Gospel of Mark 3:13–19, we reflect on the profound meaning of the Christian calling, not as a strategy or religious project, but as a relationship that establishes existence. Mark does not construct a "mission discourse," but rather recounts a foundation: Jesus calls, establishes, and above all invites us to be with him. Before action, before service, before any purpose, there is meaning.
