Marks of a Commendable Christian - Romans 16:1-16 (10.27.19) - Dr. Jordan N. Rogers
Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching through The Book of Romans in this sermon on Romans 16:1-16 entitled, “Marks of a Commendable Christian”. A name worth remembering is produced by a life lived for Jesus. In Romans 16:1-16, the Apostle Paul begins the conclusion of his greater letter to the Romans. In this part of the conclusion, he gives a message concerning the one who was likely carrying the letter to the Church and also sends his greetings to many of the believers who were there in Rome. These fellow Christians he mentions were evidently worthy of commendation, and so from this passage of Scripture we see the marks of a commendable Christian. A commendable Christian is marked by 1) selfless service, 2) a willingness to sacrifice, 3) hard work for the Lord and His people, and 4) true love for the people of God. The following is a sermon from Romans 16:1-16 and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch.
