In the third episode of Gastronodiva's 4th season, we're here to show you that SOUP IS DINNER! So, we're going to make a cassava and sausage soup recipe for you to prepare and warm up during this chilly weather. Let's go! INGREDIENTS Half a kilo of peeled cassava 1 head of garlic 1 large onion 1 chopped Calabrian sausage Olive oil Tomato sauce SEASONINGS Salt Paprika SIDE DISHES: Small pieces of French bread Grated cheese Chopped chives METHOD Cook the cassava in a pressure cooker with water and salt for 10 minutes Turn off the heat, wait for the pressure to release, open the heat, and drain the cassava. In a large pot, add olive oil and sauté the garlic and onion. Add the Calabrian sausage, cut into wedges. Then add the cassava to the pot, cutting it into smaller pieces. Sauté the two for a few minutes. Add water to cover. Add salt to taste. Add paprika or tomato paste.
