RECIPE INGREDIENTS: For the Dough: • 330g all purpose flour • 30g (2 tsp) granulated sugar • 5g (1 tbsp) instant yeast • 3g (1/2 tsp) fine sea salt • 1 large egg, room temperature • 150ml (3/4 cup) whole milk, lukewarm • 70g (1/3 cup) butter, softened & cubed For the Topping: • 1 egg (for egg wash) • Sesame seeds (optional) Instructions Combine milk, egg, sugar and yeast. Add flour and salt. Gently knead. Wait 10 minutes for the dough to relax and knead for 3 minutes. Cover the dough for 20 minutes Cube butter. Add to the dough and knead for 12 to 15 minutes. Let rise for 2 to 3 hours, until doubled in size Deflate the dough and cut into 8 equal portions. Form dough balls and place on parchment paper. Let rise for an hour Egg wash.
