Reportagem do Dia: Família morre em colisão após carro ser atingido por motorista bêbado

A tragedy occurred on Sunday night (5), when an accident resulted in the death of a family in Osasco, São Paulo. The car carrying a man, his girlfriend and the woman's daughter was hit from behind by another vehicle, causing an explosion. Gabriel Lima da Silva, 29, was driving the vehicle that caused the collision. Witnesses reported that he was driving recklessly and possibly drunk, refusing to take a breathalyzer test after the accident. Signs of intoxication were, however, recorded in the police report. The accident occurred around 11:45 pm, at kilometer 17 of the Presidente Castelo Branco highway. Due to locked doors and intense flames, the victims were unable to escape. The identification of the bodies will be done through dental records or DNA, as visual recognition was impossible.
