Emergency Services Respond To LARGE Recycling Centre Fire In Barnsley

At around 6:30pm 20/04/2024 six fire engines from across Barnsley and surrounding areas and a high volume pump and hose layer from Tankersley Fire Station rushed to the the scene of a fire at a waste recycling site on Grange Lane, Barnsley. Once in attendance crews found a large amount of household waste on fire and remained in attendance at the incident for the majority of the night.
