This is a tribute to the whales of SeaWorld San Diego that we've lost through the years. Since today is the first of December, the lyrics that I quoted, I view it as we are dreaming that these whales were still here, basically longing for something that is impossible, which is for the whales to never have died, and dream an impossible thing that they can come back. Because the lyric is saying that they are dreaming for a warm California day, but on a cold winter one. What they want is impossible, but they are dreaming about it. The song is also talking about California, and how the singer is dreaming of it, so I thought it was such a good idea to do the orcas of California.
