The Gospel of God - Message 15 - Anticipated Arguments - Romans 3:1-4. Paul has told us that outward ritual is meaningless without inward reality. It is not the outward religiousity of the Jews that gives or proves an advantage. True Jewishness is inward – those who, as Jew or Gentile, have had their heart circumcised by the Spirit proved by their regeneration, repentance, and faith. Paul then anticipates several arguments and objections to this truth by the Jews and answers their questions before they can ask them.
