Leaving Bentong, today I'm going to cycle along a very important transportation artery in West Malaysia, a mountain longitudinal route as significant as the north-south highway on the West Coast: Highway 34 (8), passing through Raub, Kuala Lepas, and finally arriving at Kampong Thom for the night. Tomorrow, I will enter Thailand through the border checkpoint in Jiri, Kelantan, and start my trip to the three Islamic provinces in southern Thailand. All along the way, the road conditions were excellent and the weather was very favorable (the sky was clear throughout the journey and the temperature was close to 40 degrees Celsius, but it rained for half an hour in the middle to cool me down). Similarly, the scenery and scenic spots along the way are also scattered like stars. Among them, the ones I'm going to stop and visit are the jungle canopy Trail in SUNGAI RELAU National Park in Pahang State and the Zixia Cave hidden deep in the dense forest of Kampong Cham. In the evening, we spent the night in the mountain town of Khao MAO Sheng in Kelantan. It was a very fulfilling day of motorcycle travel!
