I sold this unit a while ago to a recording studio owner in Chicago, he was very pleased and mentioned how it sounds great on early ribbon microphones, at the time i had many valve Vortexion mic amp mixers so thought this sounded a bit thin, after it sold i immediately regretted it, the distortion sounds very useful for vocal effects.
