#010 - "Final" Amplifier Circuit and Measurements (Class-A Discrete Headphone Amplifier Project)
In this episode of our headphone amplifier design series, we finally reach the point where the "final" (there will most likely be more revisions) schematic of the amplifier section of our project is shown and explained. After an overview of the schematic we move on to some measurements with a homemade PCB prototype, including preliminary THD measurements, which show that, even though the circuit is quite simple, it still performs remarkably well. Here's a summary of the distortion measurements: 0.07% @ 20Hz 0.05% @ 100Hz 0.05% @ 1kHz 0.08% @ 10kHz 0.10% @ 15kHz 0.14% @ 20kHz Follow the project on GitHub: http://go.innoveworkshop.com/bipolary
