My name is Karuan, and this is my story. Twelve years ago, I set out not only to see the world, but to understand it. Some destinations I chose deliberately, others I left to chance.But one place touched me deeply fascinated me, and at the same time shook me: Indonesia. A country with more than 17,000 islands. Full of cultures, beliefs, and stories of which we know so little. A place that showed me how little we truly understand about our world. Today, we often travel to show that we were there. Photos. Videos. Likes. But that is not what truly remains. What remains are the moments. The encounters. The experiences that change us. Not only the images tell our stories but what we live and feel.
