THIS IS LOMBOK | Cinematic Documentary

This has been one of the most meaningful passion projects I’ve worked on so far. The planning, traveling, filming, and the months of editing, it all comes together in this film. We traveled through jungles and forests, passed rice fields and remote villages, and crossed tropical beaches and untouched islands. We climbed Mount Rinjani, explored caves, and spent hours underwater surrounded by the incredible life of the ocean. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to explore places like this and to turn those experiences into stories. Through my camera, I try to capture not just how a place looks, but how it feels, so others can experience a small part of that magic too. A big thanks to Ari for being part of this film and for guiding me all the way to the summit Ari has been guiding on Mount Rinjani for over 10 years and knows every corner of the mountain. His favorite spot is the summit, with breathtaking views stretching across Lombok and the three Gili Islands. What makes Ari special is his calm and friendly personality. He is always looking out for the group and does everything he can to make sure everyone feels safe and enjoys the experience.
