This time, I headed to Rausu Town for my Hokkaido driving trip. First, I visited two soft serve ice cream shops on the way, Betsukai and Nakashibetsu, and my favorite was the black conger eel rice bowl in Rausu. After filling my stomach, I drove towards Shiretoko and reached the northeastern tip of Japan, which is a dead end. I walked a little further into the mountains to take pictures of foxes, and on the way back, I fought mosquitoes at the open-air Aidomari Onsen. In search of dinner, I crossed the Shiretoko Pass, ate pasta in Utoro, Shari Town, and slept in the car at the roadside station Utoro-Shirietoku. Today's lonely gourmet is Milk House soft serve ice cream, Farm Soft serve ice cream, Shiretoko Shokudo black conger eel rice bowl, and GVO sea urchin tomato cream pasta.
