Martin Meyerson Berkeley Faculty Research Lecture: Niklaus Largier

"Mysticism and Modernity" Lecture by Niklaus Largier, Sidney and Margaret Ancker Chair in the Humanities and a Distinguished Professor of German and Comparative Literature. His research focuses on the history of relations between literature, philosophy, and religion with a particular interest in the history of emotions, the senses, and the imagination. Every year since 1912, the Academic Senate has annually elected one or two faculty members who are distinguished for scholarly research to serve as a Faculty Research Lecturer.
