What is it really like to travel across North Africa by rail? In this independent Morocco train travel vlog, we take the three-hour ONCF train journey from Casablanca to Marrakesh. Leaving the coastal white city behind, we ride through the shifting desert landscapes of central Morocco to enter the historic Red City, capturing a raw, unpolished look at local transit, packed cabins, and Moroccan culture in 2026. What I got was one of the most beautiful train journeys I've ever taken — packed cabins, strangers in our reserved seats, and the real Morocco unfolding outside every window. The landscape shifts every twenty minutes. Green fields turn into dry earth. Dry earth turns into desert. Small rivers cut through nothing. You realize how massive and layered this country actually is.
