Penguatan BLUD 26 Puskesmas, Dinkes Mimika Gelar Workshop Tata Kelola Layanan Kesehatan

TIMIKA – The Mimika Regency Health Office held a Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) Implementation Workshop for all primary healthcare facilities in the region. The event, held at the Horison Diana Hotel on Wednesday (May 20, 2026), focused on strengthening community health center (Puskesmas) governance in coastal and mountainous areas. The two-day event featured a technical team from the Ministry of Home Affairs and academics from the University of Indonesia as keynote speakers. Management evaluation and standardization were the primary focus of the implementation of the independent financial system. According to data from the Mimika Regency Health Office, there are currently 26 community health centers operating across the district. Of these, 13 have officially converted to BLUD status. This makes Mimika the regency with the highest conversion rate from community health centers to BLUDs in Papua.
