One weekend, two cities, and one of the most talked-about cycling races in the country! This time, I decided to have a real cycling adventure: I took a train in St. Petersburg with my bike in the evening, found myself in Moscow in the morning, rode the legendary Garden Ring, and headed home again that evening. Just one day – and so many impressions! In this video, you'll see: the road from St. Petersburg to Moscow and back; the atmosphere of the Garden Ring starting town; moments from the race itself; the finish and everything that happened after. The Garden Ring is arguably the fastest, largest, and simultaneously most controversial cycling race in Russia. This year, the organizers encountered serious problems with telemetry after the finish, which delayed the awards ceremony. Furthermore, many participants were dissatisfied with organizational issues: the distribution of starter packs, distribution into clusters, and the timing system.
