Tylee Ryan’s Heart Was ‘Charred And Shrunken,’ Pathologist Testifies

During the "doomsday cult" mom’s triple murder trial, a pathologist testified that Tylee Ryan’s death was classified as a homicide by “unspecific means” — meaning he couldn’t pinpoint exactly what caused her death. Dr. Garth Warren said Tylee’s autopsy was unusual because her body came into his office in multiple different bags. The pathologist confirmed her heart was severely decomposed, charred and shrunken. Lori Vallow Daybell, Tylee’s mother, is accused of killing her and her 7-year-old brother, J.J. Vallow.
