60007 Sir Nigel Gresley Races Along The ECML!

In this video, we capture 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley over a 3 day period on the ECML, captured on the 15th, 18th & 21st November 2025 hauling The Christmas White Rose 2x & a Colchester to York Steam Dreams Excursion. We start the video at Claypole, 21st Nov, just south of Newark on where we capture 60007 gliding elegantly along in the beautiful sunny November morning on the Steam Dreams Excursion. After a chase just north of Retford we see the A4 charging through Ranskill, 21st Nov after her water stop at Babworth Loop, once again in the glorious sunshine. We rewind back a few days to Doncaster, 18th Nov where we see Sir Nigel Gresley speeding through the place she was built in fine style on the down fast, hauling The Christmas White Rose with a nice blast on the chime whistle! We then fast forward back to 21st Nov, where we see 60007 powering through, sounding absolutely fantastic, making her way back up to speed on the up fast after being signal checked just north of Doncaster due to a TPE Cleethorpes to Liverpool Lime Street service crossing in front of it. We go back in time again to 15th Nov at Retford where we see Gresley storming through at speed after a water stop at Ranskill Loop sounding lovely as you can hear her on the approach in the night on The Christmas White Rose. For the final shot of the video, we see Sir Nigel Gresley speeding through Grantham making her way south on 21st Nov, sounding fantastic and exactly how an A4 should sound at speed as she makes the ascent up to the famous Stoke Bank to end off a fantastic 3 days! We could’ve got more shots on 15th & 18th but due to personal commitments, this was not possible but overall I am very happy with what we captured over a brilliant 3 days capturing 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley and once again proving why she is one of preservations best!
